Change 1

Change1 is a nonprofit supporting youth aging out of foster care; we partnered with the core team and UT Austin PR division to strengthen outreach to foster youth and the case managers who serve them.

Overview

We identified slow audience growth and an Instagram–Facebook engagement gap, and focused on educational, trend-aligned content to raise visibility and understanding of Change1’s mission.

Approach
  • Deployed a full-funnel Instagram strategy with two posts per week mapped to awareness through loyalty.

  • Prioritized people-forward, trend-aligned reels alongside infographics.

  • Used collaborations and cross-tagging to reach new audiences.

  • Set up a flexible Mailchimp newsletter template to support ongoing updates.
